Dear Admiral Grayson
I am told by my Superintendent that the sheep arrived on the 29th in good condition, and I hope that their journey was not too severe on the motor truck that took them there. I thank you again for looking after my interests in this matter, and am quite confident that the whole proposition has done some good to the world at large, and at least we have had some amusement out of it.
When I can be of further service in any way, do not hesitate to call on me.
I think a few yeanlings on the lawn (if they were the right kind) would look “powerful well”.
Very sincerely,
William Woodward.
Admiral Cary T. Grayson,
The White House,
Washington, DC
