Text
Cordelia,
Dr. Grayson,
Dear Sir
I am an old man past seventy five (75) years; am fairly active with good health.
I am quite sure my life has been saved two or three times, in the past eight years, by subcutanious oil treatment; the system and method of Dr. Thomas Basset Keyes of Chicago. His address, when he last wrote me, was 606 Stewart building, 108 North State St.
I advise you to get Dr Keyes, if you can, to treat President Wilson; and show you how to treat with his method. There is no doubt in my mind, that his case indicates the treatment; it will do no harm, withe many chances for great benefit.
In case you cannot get Dr Keyes, I can write you directions; it is verry simple, and not painful or disagreable. The only thing I will advise in this letter is, that if you get Dr Keyes, and he has not already some thing to apply while treating, that you should have a lotion to dabble onto the parts where the oil is being injected.Alcol-28 oz - Camphor gum-3 oz - Glycerine-2 oz; then color with Iodine to a deep bright blod red.
This lotion, if applied when treating, will prevent any bad sensation; applied occasionaly after the treatment, it prevents soreness.
Olive oil is the kind I have always used, and have been treated, probably, 200 times, but not any for the past two years or so.
