Dearest little Girl
We have just decided on our trip to NY—so I am writing to tell you—We will leave at 8 Wednesday A.M. arriving 110 and start home at 6—arriving about 1140 or thereabouts—This will give me a chance to see you, I hope, before the ceremony—but if there are other encumbrances don’t hesitate to tell me for you know I always understand!
Bless your heart I wrote in such a tearing hurry the other day I failed to tell you how much I appreciate your doing the hat for me—I know I will love it because you did it at a time when every minute counted—Hoover has seen Small & he said he wanted Iris & big flowers—so I think H. is sending everything but the kitchen stove. Good by my precious love—
Always your,
“Miss Ede”
