EM House,
Magnolia, Mass.

I should appreciate your opinion on my telegram No. 730 of the 7th as soon as possible.

Feeling here is that as Northcliffe has been appointed he must be given all support. It is realized that the position between Northcliffe and Spring-Rice is impossible.

In general, I believe H. M. Government is prepared to accept all my suggestions which are, of course, precisely those we discussed.

Please give Lord Northcliffe my regards and tell him H. M. Government is beginning to appreciate the immense importance of the United States Government in the game.

William Wiseman.
