My dear Dr. Fraser:–
We have settled again to our routine at home but it will be a long, long time before we loose the vivid impression of the pleasure we had in visiting you at Staunton. Your hospitality was of the truest, most generous and thoughtful sort, and we shall always be grateful to you for it and count ourselves among your friends and admirers. I wish there was some other way besides words in which I could express the real debt I feel under to you.
Mrs. Wilson is herself going to write to Mrs. Fraser, but I wanted to give myself the pleasure of sending to Mrs. Fraser and you and the young people of your household this warm expression of my deep appreciation.
Cordially and sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson
