Text

My Dear McClure,

Your favor at hand, I shall be at Knoxville on the 4th unless events at Washington make the meeting unnecessary. It is possible that I may have to be in Washington next Monday (though not probably) If so I may ask you to postpone the meeting for a couple of days but I will notify you in ample time. But, as I say the Washington trip is uncertain & you need not say anything about it unless you hear further. You can address me can write: Saloon League Westerville Ohio

Yours truly
W.J. Bryan
