Text

My dearest Jessie

I send you the enclosed letter, which was sent to me. I know it will interest you, but I have written to Mr. Pietro saying that I doubted very much whether you could give him the sittings. Of course, I will accept you and your mother's judgment about the matter, but I take it for granted you will not care to accept his offer.
I got back on time and in very good shape, and am already in harness again. The house looks very bare indeed, stripped of its rugs and hangings, but it is very comfortable in spite of its bareness, and everything is going all right. I never spent so delightful a ten days as those in New Hampshire since Mamma and I first went to North Carolina.
With deepest love to all,enc.

Your loving father,
Woodrow Wilson
