My dear Mr. Strong:
I am much pleased to be assured that you are on the road to recovery. Let me venture to urge you not to make the mistake of trying to get back to work until you have well passed the safety line. I have a son-in-law at Saint Joseph’s Sanitarium at Asheville who has been there for more than six months, and I am constantly urging him to remain until the attending physicians give him a clean bill of health.
Sincerely yours,
Carter Glass
