Text
Leffingwell:
One must, at all hazards, preserve a sense of humor these days, and I hope you have not entirely lost yours. An amusing incident occurred in the bank a few days ago that shows the mental attitude of the organization. We sent around some instructions about keeping windows open and doing other things to avoid the influenza. Among other recommendations was a direction to use Dobell’s solution as a gargle. The instructions read, “it may be obtained at any drug store without a subscription.”
