With further reference to your favor of the 15th concerning the letter from Mr. Farrar in Senator McCumber’s office, and the application of Mrs. Bell, I will be glad if you will have Mrs. Bell call on Major James Miles at this office, who will be glad to see her and I think we can arrange the matter satisfactorily.
