THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
My dear Mr. Hoover
The protests against the appointment of Mr. Stearns of Colorado as coal and food administrator for the state seem to me to have a great deal of substance. If it is not too late to reconsider the matter, I am sure you will wish to take it up afresh.
Cordially and sincerely yours,
(Signed) WOODROW WILSON
