Dear Mr. Tumulty

On August 27th, I addressed a letter to the President on the question of the operation of the Draft Law against men who may be styled “key men” in agriculture, that is, men of the foreman, manager and ownership type. Herewith are copies of some telegrams, just received, of interest in this connection.
