My dear Mr. Hoover
Referring to Mr. Friend’s call at the Executive Office this morning and to his request that the President and Mrs. Wilson consent to have some motion pictures made for use in a film to further the work of the Food Administration, the President asks if you will not be kind to explain to Mr. Friend that both he and Mrs. Wilson are absolutely incapacitated by temperament from doing this sort of thing well, and that any picture that might be attempted would be sure to be a failure.
Sincerely yours,
Rudolph Forster
Executive Clerk
