Angel sweet heart

I have everything in my room here for writing except ink. I suppose guests are expected to have fountain pens, but alas I am not affluent enough for that.
I expect to leave Newark at 4.23 tomorrow, arriving in New York at 4.45 But as mother doesnt leave till 4.30 it may be that I may-to carry her suit case or something-wait till 4.56 reaching New Station at 5.19. So dont wait for me. Ill come up to your place just as soon as I can, bag & baggage.
Thank you for writing so promptly! I have your blue wrapper on, as for bringing it. That way you see I didnt have to bring two. I havent heard a word from Dickie and the whole show might be off for all I know!

Till tomorrow,

Jessie.

Monday afternoon.
