Text

My dear Mr. Hoover

Mr. House has kindly sent me the documents you were kind enough to place in his hands for my inspection

May I not take this occasion in thanking you for the documents to express my sincere appreciation of the work that you have been doing? It has commanded the admiration and confidence of every one who has had a chance to know of it and I am sure that every American who has had any part in the work of relieving suffering in Belgium will feel, when the whole story is told, that the part you have played is one of distinguished service.

Cordially and sincerely yours,

Woodrow Wilson
