My dear Sir,
Woodrow Wilson
My dear Sir,
Pray pardon a very busy man for a dilatory reply to your letter of January sixteenth.I have never written anything on the Lobby. But I think that if you will look in the lists of the Messrs. Putnams, amongst such series as that called Questions of the Day, you will find books which, if they do not themselves give what you want, will indicate where it may be found. You will find some guides in the matter also in the foot-notes to the appropriate chapter of Mr. Bryce's “American Commonwealth”. I wish I had time to look up the bibliography of the subject for you.
