Text
My dear Dr. Dabney:
Edith Bolling Wilson
(Mrs. Woodrow Wilson).
I reached home yesterday from Europe, and am writing you at once in relation to your letter to me regarding your manuscript. I am most deeply interested in it and am writing to ask if you will send it to me to read. I will then take up the matter with my attorney, should there be any need for such advice, and am sure you will understand that my effort is to safeguard you as well as myself from any embarrassments in the future.
Trusting you and Mrs. Dabney are very well, and that my absence has not delayed in any way your work, believe me;
Edith Bolling Wilson
(Mrs. Woodrow Wilson).
