Text

My dear Heath:

You may be sure that your letter of November twenty-third warmed the cockles of my heart and was one of the most welcome letters I ever received. Your telegraphic message sent to Williamstown reached me, but I am only now beginning to come to the surface after being submerged in messages from many quarters and looking around to pick out the people I especially want to write to.

With warmest thanks for every word you say,

Affectionately yours,
Woodrow Wilson
