The House was called to order at the usual hour. The inauguration of officers being first in order, Mr. BL Abney, of South Carolina took the chair as President, and Mr. Jno. B. Adger, of South Carolina was installed as Vice-President. After a few appropriate and impressive remarks by Mr. Abney in taking the chair, Mr. T. Woodrow Wilson was appointed Secretary; Mr. WT Daniel, Assistant Secretary; Mr. P. Youmans, Sergeant-at-arms; and Messrs W. Cabell Bruce, Walter S. Lefevre, and BD Gibson, Question Committee. Upon motion the House then adjourned.
