. The House was called to order at 7 o’clock by the president, Mr. Adger—The roll was called, absentees noted & the Minutes of the previous meeting read & approved. There being no debate the Report of the Question Committee was submitted & the following question selected for two weeks hence: “Would a restriction of the suffrage ameliorate our political condition?” To be debated on the Aff. by Messrs. Williams, Wilson, , Hampton, G. —Neg. Messrs. Whitner Woods, Youmans, Browning.The classes for debate were then read, the Vice presidents report submitted & excuses rendered—The order of business finished, the second roll was called & the Society adjourned—
