Text

My dear Senator

I hear from many quarters how helpful your interest in the currency bill is proving, and I want to thank you again for the interest you are taking in it and the impulse you are giving to the effort for early action.
I want, presently, to have a long talk with you on the trust question. I have been so much interested in the bills you have, yourself, proposed that it would clear my thought if we might have a discussion of the whole matter of the legislation. I see two ways open to us and I want to have my mind clear as to which is the better.

Cordially and faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. John Sharp Williams,
United States Senate.
