I am sincerely obliged to you for your letter of yesterday and would be very glad indeed to have a conference with your committee or any part of it, as you prefer, before a final draft of the Trade Commission bill is adopted. I wonder if it would be delaying the matter too long to fix the conference for Wednesday of next week, the eleventh. That is the day I reserve for conferences which ought not to be cut too short, and I suggest ten to eleven on that day if it will suit your convenience and the plans of the committee.
Cordially and sincerely yours,
