Text

My dear Senator:

In answer to your letter of the fourteenth from Jacksonville I would say that I do think it advisable that the Commission should meet and finally frame its report. I have just authorized a message to be sent to Doctor Owen saying that I will be very glad to confer with you and the other gentlemen of the Commission as soon as you get back to Washington. I think we can easily hit upon an hour.

In haste, with sincere appreciation for your letter,
Cordially yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. Duncan U. Fletcher,
Jacksonville,
Florida Senate.
