Text

My dear Major Horton:

Sometime ago I had the pleasure of accepting honorary membership in the Military Order of the Carabao. I now beg to be permitted to withdraw my acceptance. I am constrained to make this request because of circumstances which I am sure the society will understand.

Sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Major William E. Horton,
