My dear Mr. Stephens:
Hon. Dan V. Stephens,
House of Representatives.
My dear Mr. Stephens:
I am warmly obliged to you for your letter of September thirtieth, and you may be sure that there will be no budging here with regard to the essential features of the currency bill. I am sincerely grateful to you for giving me further evidence of the way in which the bankers are trying to poison the public mind against the currency bill. I think the whole matter will presently be made public and that it will help rather than hinder the legislation contemplated.
Woodrow WilsonHon. Dan V. Stephens,
House of Representatives.
