Text

My dear Mr. Eagle:

Thank you sincerely for taking the trouble to write out for me your views on the currency question. I had been promising myself, as you know, a long talk with you, but have simply been euchred out of it by constant demands upon my time from which I could not escape. I hope we shall yet become even better acquainted.

Woodrow Wilson

Hon. Joe H. Eagle,
House of Representatives.
