Text
My dear Corwin
Woodrow Wilson
Prof. Edward S. Corwin
Princeton, New Jersey.
I do not feel by any means as confident as you do as to the power of the Federal Government in the matter of overriding the constitutional powers of the states through the instrumentality of treaties, but I do not wonder you feel as you do about the matter. The present case is a most perplexing and difficult one.
It is very delightful that the men at Princeton should be thinking about me as they do. It gives me a sense of confidence and support which is of the greatest value to me.
Woodrow Wilson
Prof. Edward S. Corwin
