Text

My Dear Mr. President

I have just secured authentic information on two subjects

1st that Pres Madero resigned, the consideration being a promise of life and free passage from the country.

The second piece of information I give in blue code cipher below my signature. Do not suppose it will be necessary for you to act before I return but thought I had better communicate this information.

With assurances of esteem I am, my Dear Mr. President,

WJ Bryan
