Your message to the Roumanian nation of all lands has filled our hearts with joy. The entrance of America into war for the purpose of securing for every nation, big or small, the right to a free and independent life has given to the American nation an everlasting splendor. We make ours the beautiful and true words of the Roumanian deputy Vaida, when in the parliament of the oppressors of Budapest, he has proclaimed that since the advent of the Christian faith the greatest event in the human history is the message of the President Wilson the Roumanian nation of alllands united into one state entirely democratic and based on upon justice for all, ask for the honour to be always in the relations of the sincerest friendship with the great democracy of the new world.
