With every hour that passes since publication President's questionaire its endorsements and praise become overwhelming stop American nation is in tremendous belligerent mood and last night there were signs disappointment by those who expected a defiant rejection. Stop. But at present Presidents inquiry generally approved as skillful retort which has all force of ultimatum demanding unconditional surrender to principles with none of empty defiance or hysterical ravings of [illegible] extremists without all the thoughtless heroics which German militarists and imperialists have been only too glad to receive to rally the German people against the supposed menace of complete annihilation Stop Wilson methods is new diplomacy in practice he reaches with straight forward plain words the masses beyond the autocratic governments and result will be disastrous to German imperialism Stop German government cannot accept Wilson program but Austria and Turkey will be only too glad to accept it without reserve and German masses will and must accept it immediately Stop This it is pointed out Wilson questionaire achieves two things it breaks the central alliance and fatally divides German people
