Dearest,
Just received a wire from London saying there is no necessity for me to remain here any longer, so I am pulling out tomorrow (Sat.) night arriving Liverpool Street 930 a.m. Sunday morning. Can you arrange for the car to meet me? It’s rather early for you to come to the station, but I leave it to you. So the separation hasn’t lasted very long after all, has it? Look out for the pongo!
With love,
Jack.
