Dear Dr. Terry:
As a supplement to my note of yesterday I write to say that Representative Whaley of South Carolina has given me the names of two physicians who, he thinks, will be able to give you reliable information about the pure blooded negroes on the islands off the Carolina coast.
They are:
(1) Dr. J. E. Fripp,
Exchanfe P.O., Wadmalaw Island, SC
(2) Dr. Daniel Y. Pope,
Edisto Island, SC
Sincerely yours,
Secretary.
Dr. R.J. Terry,
Washington University,
Medical School,
St. Louis, Mo.
