September 3. at 7 pm
The President & Mrs. Wilson occupied car Mayflower
In addition the party consisted of Secretary Tumulty and myself (see records) We fourd dined together.
By miscalculating the difference between Eastern & Central time, the President arose and hour too earlyat seven instead of 8.
At Dennison, Ohio, a crowd greeted the President. He went out on the platform to speak and shake hands with some there.
Remarks a grey haired man said I am for you and wish you success on your trip. I have lost two boys in the war and have only one left and I am counting on you to prevent any more wars.
