Dear Dr. Grayson
I am enclosing herewith statement of your pledge in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), payable annually. Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) of this amount has already been paid.

You will be interested to know that we are letting the contract for our new Dormitory for men, this month. We have been unable to accomodate the many young men who have wanted to come to the University on account of not having Dormitory facilities. This building will be ready by afall and is going to meet a long felt need, it will also bring many young men to the University.

Trusting that we may be favored with your check at this time, I am.
