Dear Baker
I have been wanting for sometime to thank you for your kindness to my son Cary, and his friend William Jackson when they visited Amherst. They were very much interested and enjoyed seeing the college.
I have your acceptance of the appointment as an incorporator for the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace Foundation, which I know will please Mrs. Wilson very much.
I cannot tell you how glad I am that your operation was successful, and with the type that it was I am sure you will feel like a new man. Whenever you come this way, and you have the time to spare, please look me up, for I am never too busy to see you.
Faithfully yours,
Cary T. Grayson
