My dear Friend

In a conversation with President Roosevelt last night we enjoyed a very pleasant talk about you. The next time you are in Washington, or in New York when he should be at Hyde Park, he would like to have you call and see him. I can assure you that it will be a visit of much interest, and I hope you can find the opportunity to comply with his wishes. Of course, he does not want you to inconvenience yourself, but when the opportunity presents itself I know he would love to have you call and see him.

I regret that our paths do not cross more often as there is much that I should love to talk to you about.

With warm personal regards, I am, as ever

Your friend,

Cary T. Grayson
