My dear Friend

The reason I haven’t written you before this to thank you for the two volumes on the life of Woodrow Wilson is because I have been so busy reading them that I haven’t had a chance to write.

I can’t tell you what a splendid piece of work you have done. I am not only very grateful to have the books from you, but I am more delighted than ever that you were selected to do this great work. I know it has been a hard and difficult task, but the results are most gratifying to all of Mr. Wilson’s friends who are not only grateful to you for the work itself, but in picturing the President to others in a true light.

I hope you are getting a real rest and that you are receiving much benefit from your sojourn in Arizona.

With kindest regards, I am

Gratefully yours,

Cary T. Grayson
