Text
Dear David
“Adventures in Understanding” has just arrived. I was indeed very happy to receive it and am very much touched by your generous inscription. Because of it I am affectionately addressing you as “David”.
It is needless to tell you that Mrs. Grayson and the boys and I myself will always prize this book -- not only for the material which it contains but on account of our affection for you.
Most sincerely yours,
Cary T. Grayson
