My dear Colonel Requin:
Pardon me for not answering your letter sooner but I had hoped to have the opportunity of seeing you and answering it in person. However, owing to a great rush of business and absence from the city I have been prevented from doing so. I want to thank you for your fine letter and for the valuable information which it contains. I assure you it was much appreciated.
I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you soon.
With best wishes and kind regards, in which Mrs. Grayson joins,
Sincerely yours,
Cary T. Grayson
