Text

Dearest,

In a few minutes I am going to the Willard to hear the President speak at the Banquet of the National Chamber of Commerce. I am so glad I am to see you to-morrow evening—the train, (Congressional Limited) arrives at 9.15, and I will tell the taxi man to get me down to 10th. Street quickly; so barring accidents and delays I ought to get there at a “civilized hour.”

We will have two whole days together and what a lot we can say to each other—much of it will be the old story—but to us new—now and always—I love you, my darling with all my heart.

Until to-morrow about this time and always—
8.45 pm
Thursday—

Cary
