Dear Pay:
I was delighted to have a few words from you and my young son Gordon was pleased with the clipping. He takes great interest in such things, as well as many other ones.
When you next come to Washington, I wish you would drop by 1600 a few moments to see a “real man”. He has promised me that you and “Dave” Dowell are two fellows that he will not treat “with dispersion”. Really, when you do come this way, please let me know as I would like to have a visit with you as there are many things of interest past and present, for us to talk about.
Again thanking you for you letter with enclosure and with kindest regards to Mrs. Adee and the young lady, and best for yourself.
Your sincere friend
Cary T. Grayson
