My dear Admiral Grayson, -
It is my privilege to inform you that the Regents of the American College of Surgeons, waiving examination and the formality of application, invite you to Fellowship in the College.
Enclosed herewith is a formal application blank for Fellowship upon which I wish you would record the data there asked for and return the same to us for our files. Under separate cover I send you a copy of the last year-book of the College.
The next Convocation of the College occurs on the evening of October 26, Gold Room, Congress Hotel, Chicago. At that time Fellowship will be conferred upon you, should you accept this invitation. Military uniform will be worn by those entitled to do so. There will be no fees or dues.
I am
Faithfully yours,
