Text

Dear Senator Williams

We glory with you that the days of your years are three score and ten; may they, by the grace of God and by reason of strength, be four-score years and more, without sorrow or undue labour. We think of you very often and send you our heartiest congratulations and very best wishes on your birthday. The Senator wired back: “Love to every one of you and thanks for the telegram”. I thought you would like to know what we wired him. Hope you all are having a pleasant time. Remember me to Mrs. Grayson and the boys.

Your friends of the Alfalfa Club,

Faithfully,

Charles P. Light, Secretary.

Charley
