Dear Clarence: -
I am most appreciative of your kind invitation to dinner on Thursday night but am terribly sorry that I cannot be with you. I expect to leave on Wednesday with Mrs. Grayson and the boys for the summer. I may come in to Washington for a day or two in between but wont be here for any length of time until after the middle of September.
Let us hope that we can get together and have a reuinion, and by that time I may have a few new stories for you.
