Text

Dear Dr. Grayson

Thank you for the letter received the last of July—I hope you succeed in keeping the Chief and yourself in good condition. We had a very interesting time in the London.

Coss, with lavish entertainments. For the Isle of Wight we have had unusuall good weather.

Through a hitch in shipping arrangements, we had to change our sailing to “Mauretania”, sailing Sept. 20, arriving New York Sept. 26. I have asked Miss Bones to come to the Jefferson Hospital Sept. 26, and next day I can do what is needed. I congratulate you on keeping the Chief so well in hot weather. I hope Miss Jessie’s accident is slight. With kind regards and best wishes

EP Davis
