Dearest Altrude
I was so glad to get your card—you seemed to vanish in to the blue after your lovely party at the dear old home place—I did not know where to find you after the Mayflower failed me—I will look forward to Sept when you say you will be here—I know you will enjoy Saratoga and of course The Hot holds many happy memories for me—It is 95° to day—so forgive this badly written note—Love from
yours always affec.
