Dearest

The sound of your voice last night thwas the sweetest music I have heard since leaving home. Every one is so fine in their expressions of congratulations about the sale of the filly, I only wish you could have been present. I was up late last night and did not get to sleep until late, but I am settled down now and have been on the go since early this morning. Breck Long is here with me. We are going over to the Club House for lunch. He leaves this afternoon but has had a great time—a new experience—Mr. BB Jones bid the filly up to 50,000. He was wonderful about it all—so was Mrs. BB. I miss you so and wish for you when good luck comes. I am going to call you over the phone again soon. I do hope you are feeling better. Pardon this hasty letter. Love to the boys—Had wire from George Harrison congratulations over the price—
