Dearest

Arrived home on schedule time and found everything all right at home. The boys were fine in every way but miss you very much. They look splendidly. Irene is doing fine by them. They were much elated with the soldiers. I am scheduled to play ball with them this afternoon.

Elizabeth returned this morning. All enquire very specially for you. The weather is cool and pleasant. It rained hard both Saturday night and Sunday night. Saturday was a big storm—the worst of the year. Told De Priest about the seed—will send list. Admiral Moffett is here to confer with me, so must close. Love to Mrs. Barklie—Hope you are feeling better & taking care of your precious self.

Cary
