Dearest Trudie

Thursday—Just a line before starting for the races. So glad to receive your letter. Hope you are feeling all right. I am having more rest than you could imagine me at Saratoga. The move was a good one.

I continue to miss you terribly and think of you and the boys and love you all very dearly—We have no pen and ink at #3—when I secure one will write a long letter with all the news. I won a little yesterday—but don’t have good luck without you—Pardon haste. Will add a line to Miss E. note. Your’s fine—

Dearest love—
