Dearest

I have the baseball tickets all right in my pocket. They were most obliging about them for me. I gave them $120—(cost $118) and they gave me $80—in return—of course, a mistake which I called their attention to. I called George to tell him that I had the tickets. He is ready. I also phoned Mrs. Hellen to see of I could help her. She is fixed—

I am taking—George, Dr & Mrs. Higgins, Frank Macklin—(Mr Ross nephew who lives in Philadelphia).—

A letter came to 1600—this morning addressed to Randolph Cordozza care of me which contains two tickets for game. He is coming. My cold is better, but I am still very hoarse.

I went by to see Miss E. last night for a very brief visit as I was feeling poorly. She and Mr. Hamlin were playing pool—Mr. Hamlin seems at home their every day—

I hope you approve my plans to send My Own to Latonia—Fluvanna runs in a stake at Laurel next Tuesday—

Lots of love to you all—

Devotedly
